Organizing my universal collection of inspiration bits.
I have an extensive list of sites in my Bookmarks, and I needed a way to add notes to some of the most interesting sites for future reference, so I decided to try blogging about them.
Get inspired by sharing
This comes from my teaching background: I shared my knowledge with my students, and now I share my finds with the entire universe. How cool is that? Knowing that hundreds of people (and hopefully, in a near future there will be thousands) are interested in what I have to say inspire me to learn more, to polish my writing, to do my best at inspiring others.
Getting challenged often inspires
I love interesting challenges – they always inspire me to prove others and first of all to myself that I can do it, and more so, that I can be really good at it. Blogging is a new challenge for me. I now know that I can do it, but would I ever reach the top of the blogosphere mountain – only time will tell.
I’d like to quote Jack Nickolson’s character from the movie “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest “. Remember when McMurphy tried to lift an impossibly heavy sink to break the window and get out of the institution in front of everybody, he failed but breathlessly said: “But I tried, didn’t I? Goddamnit, at least I did that.”
One bit of the Blogosphere
It’s so thrilling to be a part of the new (relatively new) movement. It’s like going on strike for a good cause, or feeling proud to be a Vancouverite when Vancouver was proclaimed to be the “the best city to live” by Economist Intelligence Unit in 2005.
Inspire others and they’ll inspire you
It is so true. I have discovered so many new blogs, tools, sites that fascinate me from my readers comments. So, please, keep reading my blog and comment as often as you can. You are all so very welcome here.
